Tri-Best materials offer a multitude of choices for the most discerning of tastes and applications.
Our tackable materials range from generic cork to an imported fabric applied to a sound absorbing tackable panel.
All materials can be provided as 1/2" thick preframed tackboard or installed directly to an existing wall surface for an expanded display area.
Aluminum framed units are provided in the same profiles as our writing boards (TB-1 and TB-2). Standard tackboard sizes are 4' high and in seamless lengths up to 16' long.

Assorted Self-Healing And Firm Holding Surfaces Natural Cork
Natural, premium grain cork provides excellent holding power and self-healing capabilities. It presents inherent resiliency and pliability, gripping staples, pins and thumbtacks with firmness. This imported product is available in 1/16" 1/8" and 1/4" thickness. Tri-Best offers cork in cut sheets and partial or full rolls.Fine Grain Burlap Backed Colored Cork
The most durable, self-healing tackable material available. Offered in multiple colors, this 1/4" plastic impregnated cork with burlap backing is designed to withstand heavy use. The tightness of the cork granules allows complete closure of all staple and pin holes. The designer colors are not just a surface coating, but extends throughout the cork. This feature affords colorfast cleaning with water and mild cleansers.Fine grain burlap backed colored cork is available in cut sheets as well as partial or full rolls.
Vinyl Covered Natural Cork
Utilizing 1/4" natural cork with a commercial grade, cloth-backed vinyl fabric laminated to its surface, this popular option provides the self-healing quality of cork in a wide selection of colors and patterns. Vinyl fabrics are available in many select patterns and colors; all are washable and long lasting, meeting the criteria of federal specification CCC-W-408A.Vinyl Covered Fiberboard and Tackable Wall Panels
Employing selected vinyl fabrics laminated to its face, this economical wood fiberous material allows full 1/2" penetration into the tackable backing.This additional depth securely holds postings and exhibits. The fiberboard core also offers an acoustical value when installed floor to ceiling.
Non-descript wall surfaces can be transformed into colorful presentation areas with Tackable Wall Panels. Vinyl covered wall panels with self-wrapped edges are installed floor to ceiling in 4' widths.
A clean, vertical joint is created where wall panels join, leaving an unobstructed full wall display area. Aluminum edging with concealed fasteners is provided where tackable wall panels adjoin at other finishes.
Vinyl Covered Cork On Fiberboard
Selected vinyl fabrics are laminated to 1/8" natural cork, which is then applied to 3/8" wood fiberboard. This highly recommended combination of materials offers a washable vinyl surface, the self-healing quality of cork and a full 1/2" thick tackable core.
