Unlike ordinary painted boards with questionable durability, our best choice porcelain-on-steel surfaces withstand daily use and abuse. This surface resists scratches, stains and is effortless to clean. Even tape and magnets can be adhered or removed with ease. Its glasslike, non-porous surface offers superior image clarity and receives chalk and marker applications smoothly.
Produced in a continuous coil process by an industry-leading manufacturer, the ceramic-like writing surface is fused to 24-gauge or 28-gauge steel. Whether markerboard or chalkboard, the surface will not crack, fade or peel, even when solvents are used to eradicate permanent markings or foreign substances. The finished surface is laminated with specially formulated adhesive to a core material for sturdiness and strength.
Porcelain-on-steel writing boards are available in seamless pieces of 4 feet or 5 feet high and up to 16 feet long. 5-foot high materials are available in all standard colors, subject to minimum quantity requirements. Custom produced sizes are available at no additional costs or increased production time.
Tri-Best Visual Display Products offers a full line of 6063-T5 aluminum frame systems to fit any project condition or decor. Aluminum finishes include clear satin, commercial bronze and custom color powder coat.
Our two most popular frame systems, year after year, are the "Standard" and "Collegiate" series. The Standard series (WB-1) offers a contemporary 3/4" wide aluminum frame, 1" or 2" aluminum maprail with accessories across top and a heavy-duty blade tray at the bottom edge. The Collegiate series (WB-2) provides a bold 1 1/2" wide aluminum frame, 1" or 2" aluminum maprail with accessories across top and a bold aluminum triangular tray at bottom with cast end closures.
